Spelling Guidance for Parents
We are continuing to work hard in school to help children to become confident spellers. You can help your children at home by encouraging them to practise the weekly sounds/spellings set in each class. It is more effective if children can practise these each day rather than all at once on the day before they are assessed. For younger children try to make the practice into fun, multi-sensory activities (there are some ideas below).
