1. We have heard a lot about the importance of clinical trials over the last few months in the race to find a vaccine for the Corona virus. We are starting a topic on keeping our bodies healthy.
2. Look at the slideshow below that gives you information about clinical trials carried out in the mid 1700s to combat a condition called scurvy.
3. Read the scurvy information sheet and then on the worksheet or in your book, answer the questions about Lind’s experiment. As an alternative you could make a poster, a diagram, a powerpoint a collage or a picture of Lind's work on scurvy and email to me on: head@longmarton.cumbria.sch.uk
