As the name implies Long Marton Community School plays a large part in the community life of Long Marton. The school buildings can be used by the local community for activities and the pupils from the school take part in community activities.
On two Wednesday's of each month members of the local community can enjoy a tasty lunch served at Long Marton Village Hall. The School and Village Hall Committee have worked in close partnership to provide this service to the local community. The 2 course meal, followed by coffee is cooked in the school kitchen then collected and served at the village hall by local volunteers.
